...dont ever turn this beautiful app into a whitish, flat iOS 7 stupidity.

I bought this app full price years ago, it is now riddled with adds asking me to "unlock", by paying again of course. Im gonna buy a real proper guitar tuner instead. No ads, not before, not after buying. Shame, I loved this app.

I play several stringed instruments (double-bass, viol, guitar, bass guitar, Swedish nyckelharpa) and I must say that knowing which chord Im playing over when improvising or just being able to name which ones are my favorites when composing without having to think loads about it is a huge plus. Whats most interesting to me is the "visualization" of the neck. It really helps playing without wondering where the note is. After a while, even eyes closed, I know where to go. Even without the instrument in my hands, I know. I play XVIth century music, metal, prog, Brazilian choro... Im also composing my own music… So this app is my best companion no matter what the situation is!

This is the best app for a self taught guitarist or bassist! Teachs you many scales, chords, note names, and has lots of multiple tunings! Such a great app, worth $9.99 for sure

I love this app and use it to tune my guitar easily. I also have saved a few tunings that were not in there for certain songs. Then when I want to switch to my ukulele I can select it and tune that as well. Lots of instruments on here. Also shows you the chords if you have a tab with no diagrams. Seems very accurate.

Ive owned this app for a long time, Im always using it to tune up. Im sure to use it even more now that it has a nice iPad version built in. Thanks.

This is a really great, full featured app, and IMHO, its the best guitar app in the app store. I just did the in app purchase of GTK+ and was under the impression that I could add any custom string instrument... well I tried to add an 8 string guitar and I see its not available, so maybe they should modify the wording in the in app advertising for GTK+... either that or add 8 string support *hint hint, nudge nudge* Other then my desire (and raised expectations) for 8 string guitar support, this is a really well built app that gets more use then any of my other IOS apps. This really is a must have app for any guitarist.

This is one of the apps I use every day. The best tuners Ive found, a very versatile metronome. The in app upgrade allows me to make up chord charts. I recommend this app to all my guitar students.

it looks like there is lots to learn on this app ... However very disappointed that the Steps to Stardom page that is shown in the app description for $9.99 costs an extra $4.99 to get ... They show it as part of the app but you dont get it. The tuners are pretty awesome though. It does look like this app is going to be a winner.

I just downloaded this app for ten bucks, and was immediately confronted by an upgrade or plus module that costs an extra five bucks to make this thing fully functional (play chord sounds, add instrument tones etc). I would have preferred to know that the full cost of this app was fifteen bucks up front. Seems misleading to me. I would stay clear of this app on that basis alone if you believe in transparency and fair play in your commercial dealings.

I love this app. While practicing and looking over my own notes I have found a list of different chord voicings, mainly strategic 7th chord shapes that arent in the app. I would absolutely love it if the app was updated to include every mathematical combination that is possible. I would like to add the reason I am mentioning this is because many simple and easy to play voicings that I use regularly are not in the app. Please contact me so I can send the exact information. A bit too expensive though...

This is by far the most accurate guitar tuner app Ive come across, saved me money from buying a tuner, cuz I have one in my pocket at all times.
